My name is Felix Ó Murchadha and I am the founder and teacher at Irish Language Vancouver. I arrived in Vancouver in September 2024 and instantly fell in love with the city. Being from the West of Ireland (Galway), I have grown up with the Irish language, attending both primary and secondary school (elementary and highschool) in gael-scoileanna, where all schooling is taught through the Irish language.
I am excited to embark on this journey with Irish Language Vancouver to pass on the knowledge I have obtained over the last 20 years of being a fluent Irish speaker.
